ICC International Certificate of Capacity
(2011-03-19)
The ICC (International Certificate for operators of pleasure Craft Internationaal Vaarbewijs voor Pleziervaartuigen) will be implemented as from now in Belgium.
The ICC is a document stating your permit and ability to navigate with a pleasure craft in International Waters and complies with EU rules.
You can apply for an ICC without examination if you are a Belgian citizen possessing any kind of Belgian license :
(Brevet de Conduite, Algemeen stuurbrevet,Beperkt stuurbrevet,Yachtman,Yachtnavigator,Vaarbewijs A/B binnenvaartwegen)
"ICC IC M" will be the most appropriate certificate to apply for Motorboats, for coastal and inland waterways.
Pricing for the certificate is fixed to 60 EUR.

Reports from our 2010 Meeting, Namur Belgium

Thanks to wonderfull weather conditions and plenty of smiling members coming to us from all over Western Europe, We catched a high score again !! In fact both National and International Press literally invaded our flottila ! We hosted RTBF Belgian Television, Boote Magazine from Germany, Nautica and Yachting Sud from Belgium along with our own local Video team from Namur.

The European Wooden boat club ( EWBC ) and its website hosts all those fascinated in classic wooden power boating, both owners and enthusiasts. Here you'll find photos, an owners' database, historical information, gatherings, price lists and much more. The site is divided into a free and a members-only section. Members will be prompted for their login credentials when needed.
The European wooden boat club consists of boating enthusiasts from all over Europe.
Fryslan Marren is the current theme of our annual happening which each year is organized in a different country. Please find the Program and Inscription forms in the Calendar section.
Subscribers to the club also obtain our E-zine newsletter , which is available in PDF format.
